To the front is ok, but is not suppose to be visible to the rear. This is basically unclear law wise since all the Highway Patrol cars have clear to the rear. |

Can be used by anyone, but law basically states it must be on for a reason. |

Can be used by Police, Fire, EMS, Volunteer Fire Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs. |
SPECIAL RULES |
Some Public Safety departments use red and blue bar lights since they are fire and police combined. |
